GFI assists businesses with NAMRA Good Standing Certificate applications. A NAMRA Good Standing Certificate confirms that the taxpayer is compliant with Namibian tax laws in respect of submitted returns and payment of taxes. NAMRA states that certificates are only issued where there are no outstanding balances or returns on the registered tax accounts.

What GFI does to help

  • Reviews your tax compliance readiness before application
  • Assists with the application process on the relevant NAMRA platform
  • Helps identify outstanding return or tax issues that may delay approval
  • Supports collection coordination and follow-up

Documents typically required

  • Company registration documents
  • Tax registration number / TIN
  • NAMRA tax account details
  • Director/member/authorized representative ID or passport
  • Authorized representative details, where applicable
  • Any supporting tax documents requested by NAMRA

Important note: NAMRA indicates that a good standing certificate is issued only after the taxpayer’s records are up to date, is issued free of charge by NAMRA itself, and is generally valid for four months from date of issue. Your fee to GFI is for professional assistance and processing support.
