FNB NAMIBIA BANK ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS FORM

NB: Directors who are currently abroad must have the FNB account‑opening documents notarised in the country where they are located, or they may visit the nearest FNB branch so that the documents from FNB Namibia can be forwarded to the relevant FNB branch in that country (subject to the branch’s first available appointment). Once the documents have been notarised, the original signed documents must be couriered to FNB Namibia for verification before the account‑opening process can begin. Please note that all notary and courier costs are for the customer’s account.

Kindly review the requirements listed below. Once all required information has been received, we will prepare the account‑opening documents for signature.

The original FNB account‑opening documents must be signed by all directors in the presence of either:

  • an FNB representative, or
  • a Public Notary (with an official notary stamp).

After signing, the original documents must be sent to Namibia for processing.

To proceed, please provide the email address and contact details of the Public Notary who will be assisting, or indicate the FNB branch the directors will visit to sign the documents. The documents will then be emailed directly to the designated notary or branch.
